From sea to soil, we're the pair behind the paddocks, Sarah and Jim.
After growing up by the beach in Adelaide, we decided to swap sea breezes for fresh country air, making the big move to the countryside in 2022 to chase our dream of farm life.
These days, we call a beautiful 50-acre patch of land in Kapunda home – perfectly nestled between South Australia’s famous Barossa and Clare Valleys. It’s here that we’re building a life filled with fresh produce, beautiful blooms, hard work, and a whole lot of furry and feathered friends.
Jim is our resident handyman and jack-of-all-trades, if something needs building, fixing, digging, fencing, or mowing, he’s the guy. He handles everything from setting up irrigation and tending the orchard, to managing the veggie beds and keeping the animals fed and happy. In his “spare time”, Jim loves cricket, going fishing, and hitting the trails on his motorbike.
Sarah is the creative heart of the farm. With a love for all things artistic; from interior styling and baking to a not-so-secret obsession with Disney, she brings colour and charm to everything she touches. These days, you’ll find her in the flower patch, tending to the veggie garden or dreaming up the next garden project.
Alongside farm life, Sarah also runs Sarah Kate Creative, a passion-fuelled sister brand offering photography sessions, content creation, greeting cards, art, invitations, wedding and event signage, graphic design and more.
